Kenyon students are members of an engaged and dynamic community, where collaborative thinking and dynamic conversations extend beyond the classroom. Led by the Office of Residential Life, Kenyon’s residential experience fosters learning, promotes responsibility and advocacy and encourages inclusion.
The Office of Residential Life works with students to offer a variety of on-campus housing options, from traditional residence halls to College-owned apartments to themed housing. First-year students live in residence halls grouped together on the northern end of campus, with easy access to communal events and peer-run programming.
Housing Options
First-year rooms are usually doubles, with a few singles and triples in the mix. All Kenyon residences are smoke-free. After your first year, options include traditional residence halls, modern apartments and houses based on shared interests and themes. Returning students make their housing selection via application and an online housing management system in the spring. Kenyon also offers gender inclusive and substance-free housing.
Information for New Students
The Office of Residential Life and the Orientation team are here to help you transition to life on campus. First-year students receive their housing and roommate assignments in mid-summer.
