Harassment Policy Statement
Kenyon College intends to provide a work environment that is pleasant, healthful, comfortable and free from intimidation, hostility or other offenses which might interfere with work performance. Harassment of any sort — verbal, physical, visual, sexual — will not be tolerated. See the Civil Rights IX Policy. Kenyon College is committed to free expression, free inquiry, honesty, tolerance and respect for the rights and dignity of others. Harassment is a very serious offense that can result in the imposition of severe disciplinary measures. Harassment is offensive to the principles of appropriate discourse and civil conduct. Indeed, it is a form of persecution that can cause extreme anguish and humiliation. It is unacceptable under any circumstances and will not be tolerated.
