This document will walk through what it looks like for a student to receive a quiz that has been submitted and graded on Moodle.
When the student first logs in, they will be directed to the course overview page, which lists all the Moodle pages for the courses the student is taking. The student will click on the course title for your course.
On the page, student can click on the quiz they would like to view.
The student will then see the page for this specific quiz. At the top of the page, the student will see the section with the quiz title, in this case “Quiz 1,” which gives an overview of the quiz. The student will see the “Summary of your previous attempts” section, which lists the number of attempts, the state of the attempt, the marks, the grade, and the highest grade. The student can also click “Review” to see the quiz details.
The student will then see the review page for this specific quiz attempt. This page lists the start and end times, the quiz attempt state, the total time taken, the total marks, the grade, the marks for each question, the questions, the answers, and the comments.
For each question, the student can click on the flag in order to flag a question and come back to it later.
On the left side of the screen is the quiz navigation box. Here the student can quickly see the marks for each question or jump to a question, and the student can click “Finish review” to return to the quiz page.
Once the student has returned to the quiz page, it is possible to re-attempt a quiz by clicking “Re-attempt quiz.”
The student will then see the page for re-attempting the quiz. Here the student can re-attempt quiz questions, flag questions, and navigate questions, and then the student can click “Next” at the bottom of the page to move on.
The student will then see the summary page for the quiz re-attempt. Here the student can review question statuses, return to the attempt, or submit the attempt and finish.
The student will then see a confirmation window that will give them the opportunity to either cancel the submission of the attempt or submit the attempt.
If the student returns to the quiz page, they can view that the quiz attempt has been submitted and added to the summary of previous attempts.
