New students helped campus shake off the slumber of summer on Saturday, Aug. 19, as they began moving into dorms.
The annual rite of passage was filled with the sounds of students unloading cars, meeting roommates, and exploring campus with family and new friends. New arrivals, selected from a record number of applicants, included members of the Class of 2027 and transfer students.
And while there may have been some tears mixed in with the smiles on Move-In Day, one comforting phrase repeated again and again: Welcome home!
