Starting off on the right foot, incoming students began their college journey on Middle Path.

Boxes and bedding and bulletin boards, oh my!

All the essentials of college life were on display Sat., Aug. 24, as members of the Class of 2028 and transfer students moved into their new homes on the Hill. Campus was buzzing as new arrivals unloaded cars, decorated rooms, and made new friends.

It wasn’t always easy work for students and their families, but it was buoyed by excitement and anticipation for the many great adventures to come.

Move-In Day 2024

Hundreds of new students were welcomed to campus on Move-In Day.
Getting settled was a team effort for students and their families.
Vehicles from across the country were packed to the max, just waiting to be unloaded.
No time to waste in making Gambier their new home away from home.
Rooms started to feel like home as students moved in.
Students and their families were all smiles as they got comfortable in their new digs.
Move-In Day was a whirl of activity.
President Julie Kornfeld lent a helping hand as new students and their families moved into residences.
A small jar of flowers welcomed each first-year student to their new campus residence.
