There’s something unique about the Kenyon family: you may not have overlapped during your time on the Hill, but the strong attachment a fellow student or alumnus has to the campus and to each other is a force to be reckoned with, a bond inseparable.

My previous two years at Kenyon gave me the stepping stones to make my way across the Atlantic to Exeter, and I’m so thankful for that. I’ve already felt my independence grow exponentially within the past six weeks, and I’m not even halfway through.

I turned my back on the hustle and bustle, left the steel and stop lights, and slowed down from an urban pace. I learned to walk in step with village life.

During my time at Kenyon, I’ve come to cherish all of the traditions that students and alumni alike hold near and dear to their hearts.

To want, I discovered, was the only preliminary to being in the Kenyon arts community.
