Reception Center at Kokosing Nature Preserve

Have you been searching for a space to rent for a bridal shower, rehearsal dinner, or other gathering or event? The newly renovated Kokosing Nature Preserve reception center located at 10608 Quarry Chapel Road is available to rent.

The reception center can hold up to 70 people comfortably. The kitchen space features a large cooler, a small deep sink and lots of counter space. There are two restrooms available.

Rental Fees

Community members: $500
Kenyon staff and faculty: $250
Rental for a gathering before or after an interment service: $250

We chose to have our wedding in September because I knew I wanted to incorporate goldenrod into my theme -- I could not have imagined how perfect the Kokosing Nature Preserve would be when I booked the space in the Spring. On September 19th, the prairie was a sea of gold, it was seriously like a dream. We had our ceremony at the Quarry Chapel and headed right down the street to KNP for photos and a little reception in the clubhouse. The venue was everything we needed and Jill was so easy to work with. It was relaxed, totally customizable and the perfect size for our 40 guests. The food truck was able to park right outside and guests meandered along the paths while they waited for their food. Have I mentioned it was perfect?
