Lights, camera, action.
Kenyon’s state-of-the-art film center and community hub is situated in the heart of downtown Mount Vernon. The second and third floors, which house the film department, feature large, industrial-style spaces devoted to film production and teaching. Classes range from “Directing for the Camera” to “Writing the Television Pilot.”
Students have access to editing suites, a 30-seat screening room and a fully equipped sound stage — complete with a lighting grid and green screen capabilities. Downstairs is dedicated to SPI, a nonprofit that welcomes local families to engage in science-based play.
