The Kenyon Alumni Magazine is published three times a year by the Office of Communications and mailed to nearly 25,000 alumni and friends of Kenyon College, including parents of current students.

The goal of the magazine is to connect all Kenyon alumni to a singular place and an authentically diverse community, one that continues to feed their minds and spirits. We inspire the thrill of recognition in our readers by providing distinctively “Kenyon” content, showcasing a wide range of voices, opinions and formats.

How to get in touch with us:

We love hearing from you! Email your updates to classnotes@kenyon.edu or submit a note using this class note submission form.

Class notes are based on the information you send us — often with direct quotes — and are fact-checked and edited for length, style and clarity. While we do not print submitted photos in the class notes section of the magazine, we will consider sharing any submissions on Kenyon's social media accounts.

Please note that due to the magazine’s production cycle, there is often a time lag — around four months — from when class notes are submitted to when they appear in the print magazine. And while we wish we could print every note we receive, we only have space in each issue to publish about 40 percent of submitted notes. Fortunately, you can read more notes submitted for your class year in your fall and spring class letters.

The Kenyon Alumni Magazine welcomes story pitches from freelance writers and readers. We’re always looking for human-interest stories, topical stories and alumni profile ideas. Email pitches and ideas to editor@kenyon.edu with a brief explanation of your idea and why it would be a good fit for this magazine.

To update your contact information with the College, or if you’d like to be added to or removed from the magazine’s mailing list, please email with your new information to updateinfo@kenyon.edu.

If you’ve published a book in the past year and would like it to be considered for coverage in an upcoming issue of the magazine, please mail a copy of the book and any promotional materials to the following address:

For digital book submissions and general Bookshelf questions, please email the editor.

Our In Memoriam section includes obituaries of Kenyon alumni, staff, faculty (including former) and friends of the College, and are written in-house from material provided by family or friends of the deceased. They are fact-checked and edited for length, style and clarity, and due to space limitations, we typically only include survivors by name if they are Kenyon alumni.

Please email death notices to the editor and include In Memoriam in the subject line.
