During Reunion Weekend 2017, a reception and celebration event was held for Harlene Marley H’05, a distinguished member of the Kenyon faculty for almost 40 years. As the first woman hired into a tenure-track position in 1969 until her retirement in 2005, Marley impacted generations of students and future actors.
Along with the reception at the black box theater, which was named for Marley in 2019, the celebration included a dinner and an opportunity for alumni to share memories and staged readings.
