Welcome to the Kenyon Alumni Admissions Network (KAAN). The Office of Admissions is grateful for your interest in, support of and participation in this program. The involvement of alumni is a key element to our admissions network — who better than one's own family to speak to the benefits of this community?
The role of alumni in our admissions effort is essential. Volunteer opportunities may vary from year to year, depending upon the expressed interest by prospective students from your area. Opportunities may include:
- Conducting alumni interviews (no more than 3 per year).
- Serving as a representative at college fairs (one fall or one spring).
- Send us clippings from your local newspaper. If there is a student in your community who has excelled academically, athletically or through community service and is highlighted in a local newspaper, email KAAN@kenyon.edu a link, or fax (740-427-5770) or mail a copy of the article, along with the full name and high school of the student to our office. We will then reach out to these students with updated information on the College.
- Follow-up with admitted students with whom you've had contact during the admissions process.
Full-time KAAN volunteers will be expected to contribute no more than 8 hours of their time in a given academic year. (If you are not able to commit to a full schedule, feel free to let us know how much time we can expect of your commitment.) Submit the registration form to be a KAAN volunteer.
Please don't hesitate to contact the Office of Admissions with any questions you may have. We look forward to meeting those of you we haven't yet met, and reconnecting with those with whom we've shared Kenyon experiences over the years.
