The official Kick-off of Fall Orientation for students and guests! Learn what to expect through the orientation program and beyond. 3 - 3:30 p.m. A Family Member’s Guide to Your Student’s First Year

An overview of the developmental and academic changes a student will experience and how parents and family members can assist their students in learning how to navigate these changes. • Career Development and Student Work 

Staff from the Career Development Office will share an overview of services, programs and resources available to students as well as resources parents can access. They will also briefly discuss student work opportunities at Kenyon. Community Foundation Theater, Gund Gallery

• Health and Counseling

Learn about all of the services available at the Cox Health and Counseling Center.  The center provides compassionate care and empowers students to manage their physical and mental health in preparation for life after Kenyon. Higley Hall Auditorium

• Library Services

Experience Chalmers Library, a hub for undergraduate research, experiential learning, and academic and career advising. Carver Reading Room, Chalmers Library

• Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (ODEI) 

ODEI offers programs and services to foster an environment in which all students can thrive. These programs and services include academic success and leadership programs, educational programming, and mentoring programs. Families are invited to join Kenyon staff members and co-chairs of the Kenyon Parents Council for a dessert reception. Learn tips from current parents and meet members of the Kenyon team. Remarks begin at 7 p.m. Alumni Dining Room, Peirce Hall

7 p.m. First Floor Meeting with Your Community Advisor

First-year and transfer students meet Community Advisors (CAs) and other floor residents and learn important information about living on campus.

8:15 p.m. Succulents at Sundown: Building Your Kenyon Connections
