Join dancer and choreographer Ashley Sanchez for a movement workshop exploring water and its connection to dance. The movement program invites participants to discover how science and dance can spark conversations through movement.
Participants will be guided through short sequences of movement and create movement sequences together.
The workshop is open to people of all ages and ability levels, and no dance (or science) experience is required. Participants should wear comfortable clothes and shoes and be prepared to move. Meet at the BFEC resource center.
This workshop is part of the NEA Big Read program in collaboration with the Public Library of Mount Vernon and Knox County.
