The Center for the Study of American Democracy will host Scott Lincicome, the CATO Institute's vice president of general economics and leader of its Herbert A. Stiefel Center for Trade Policy Studies.

Lincicome also is a senior visiting lecturer at Duke University Law School, where he has taught a course on international trade law. He spent two decades as a litigator of trade disputes at Case and White LLP. Lincicome often appears as a guest on public affairs television programs and podcasts and writes for a variety of outlets, including the Columbus Dispatch. At Kenyon, his talk will focus on “Tariffs, Trade Wars, and the Future of U.S. Trade Policy.”
