The Bicentennial Advisory Committee is pleased to invite you to the kick-off event celebrating Kenyon’s first 200 years: a ribbon cutting for Bexley Hall. One of the oldest buildings on campus is now officially the newest. Please join President Julie Kornfeld, Vice President for Student Affairs Celestino Limas and Professor Emeritus of Religious Studies Royal Rhoades at 10:45 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 8, 2024, for brief remarks in the Bexley Hall lobby and light refreshments in Colburn Hall.
Attendees will be the first to sign the Bicentennial Book. Inspired by Kenyon’s Matriculation Book, the Bicentennial Book will be present at all bicentennial events and serve as an archival record of those who were present at individual celebrations. We hope that everyone will have the chance to sign it multiple times.
Please plan to enter Bexley through the doors between the two buildings, and note that parking is limited.
We look forward to seeing you there!
