Panelists include Alexandra Bradner, visiting assistant professor of philosophy, Katherine Elkins, professor of comparative literature and humanities, Noah Aydin, professor of mathematics, and Madeline Wade, associate professor of physics. Moderated by Carol Schumacher, professor of mathematics.
- Feb. 13 at 11:10 a.m. in Hayes Hall 109: AI: Algorithmic Bias and Social Surveillance. Christopher Levesque, assistant professor of law and society and sociology, will deliver an interactive presentation on algorithmic bias. Attendees will learn about how tools are intentionally or unintentionally designed to target vulnerable communities.
- Feb. 17 at 4:10 p.m. in Leach Dining Room, Peirce Hall: Minicourse: Practical Uses of AI. Joe Murphy, director of the Center for Innovative Pedagogy will host an interactive workshop on AI tools.
- Feb. 19 at 12:10 p.m. in Leach Dining Room, Peirce Hall: Creative AI: Ethics and Purposes. Ashley Brokaw, digital media instructional technologist, CIP, will host an interactive workshop on AI's place in art.
- Feb. 21 at 11:10 a.m. in Edwards House: AI Roundtable (Faculty Only). Joe Murphy, director of the Center for Innovative Pedagogy will host a conversation on AI with faculty.
