Tamara Seckel has performed in roles, recitals and concerts throughout the Midwest and New York. She has sung with Lyric Opera Cleveland, Pro Musica Columbus, Opera Columbus and Lancaster Chorale, and was a soloist for the Cantilena Concert Series. She has performed at the Cleveland, Toledo, and Columbus Museums of Art. She has been soloist for world premieres with the Hixon Dance Theater, Columbus Guitar Society and the Cleveland Institute of Music orchestra.

Most recently, she was the soprano soloist with the Knox County Symphony for Mozart’s Vespers, Brahms’ "Ein Deutsches Requiem" and Beethoven’s "Mass in C Major." She was soprano soloist for Bach’s "Christmas Oratorio" with the Columbus Bach Ensemble. She was a guest soloist for "Madrigals 1" by George Crumb at Otterbein College, and a guest soloist with the Heisey Wind Ensemble and the MSYO. She was soprano soloist for Brahms’ Ein Deutsches Requiem under the baton of Robert Ward of Ohio State University, and soprano soloist for the Mozart Requiem under the baton of Maurice Casey. She was the featured artist for the Fairfield First Arts concert series. A past winner of the Stelia and Sofia Vassos price in French Art Song, she was a featured participant at the Cleveland Art Song Festival.

She was a past soprano soloist for Early Interval, Columbus’ baroque ensemble. She is a past section leader and soloist with the choirs at Worthington United Methodist Church, St. Joseph Cathedral and Temple Israel. She holds degrees from Oberlin Conservatory and the Cleveland Institute of Music.
