Fall Visit Days

Explore Kenyon’s campus and hear directly from students about life at Kenyon during Fall Visit Days on Monday, October 14, and Monday, November 11. We are offering campus and speciality tours, interviews, class visits and a student panel. 

You also can take a workshop focused on your essay or application, and parents can learn more about the application process and financing a college education from Vice President of Enrollment Management and Dean of Admissions Diane Anci and Director of Financial Aid Craig Slaughter.

Program Schedule

8:45 - 9:10 a.m. Registration

9:10 - 10 a.m. Welcome and Student Panel and Q&A
Welcome from Kenyon’s Vice President of Enrollment and Dean of Admissions Diane Anci followed by a panel presentation of students discussing life at Kenyon and answering your questions.

10:10 - 11 a.m. Students have a choice of class visits, interviews, campus and specialized tours (arts, English and creative writing, Lowry Athletic Center, science).

Parents can choose from additional campus and specialized tours or explore campus on their own.  

11 a.m. - 12 p.m. Lunch
Enjoy lunch and conversation with members of the Kenyon community.

12:10 - 1 p.m. Students have a choice of class visits, interviews, campus and specialized tours (arts, English and creative writing, Lowry Athletic Center, science).

1:10 - 2 p.m. Students can choose between two workshops, an interview or attend a class.

• Essay Writing Workshop: Admission directors will explore topics, strategies and approaches to consider as you write your college essay.  
• Mock Application Review Workshop: Students will review and critique sample admission applications. Learn how your college application will be reviewed and factors that are considered during the evaluation process.   

For parents:

• Admissions and Financial Aid Workshop: Vice President of Enrollment Management and Dean of Admissions Diane Anci and Director of Financial Aid Craig Slaughter will discuss the application process and financing a college education. There will be an opportunity for questions.

2:10 - 3 p.m. Students have a choice of class visits, interviews, campus and specialized tours (arts, English and creative writing, Lowry Athletic Center, science). 

Parents can choose from additional campus and specialized tours or explore campus on their own. 

2:10 - 4:30 p.m. Open House at Admissions and Financial Aid Office
Stop by Lowell House for light refreshments. Admissions and financial aid team members, as well as current students, will be on hand to answer any lingering questions you may have.

3:10 - 4 p.m. Students have a choice of class visits, interviews, campus and specialized tours (arts, English and creative writing, Lowry Athletic Center, science).
