We were the first college in the country to introduce the model of professors serving as academic advisors. Today, this celebrated practice continues to be a distinguishing feature of a Kenyon education.
In addition to working one-on-one with your faculty advisor, you’ll find numerous resources — from academic advising to peer mentoring — to help you get the advice and support you need along the way.
Office of Academic Advising
From year one to four, the Office of Academic Advising works with you to identify your strengths and weaknesses, and helps you explore opportunities to reach your professional goals.
Career Development Office
The Career Development Office is your go-to resource to learn about professional opportunities, pursue internships, network with alumni and develop a strategy for your career search.
Student Accessibility and Support Services
If you have a disability or temporary medical condition, Student Accessibility and Support Services (SASS) can coordinate and develop customized and confidential accommodation plans to make the most of your learning experience.
Cox Health and Counseling Center
The Cox Health and Counseling Center provides short-term individual and group counseling to students who may be experiencing a variety of issues or needs. Kenyon students also have access to TELUS Health Student Support that connects students with free, confidential mental health and wellbeing support.
We're in this together.
At Kenyon, we all learn from one another. You’ll find valuable advice and guidance from your peers in these programs:
Math and Science Skills Center
Peer tutors at MSSC are ready to assist you with homework, lab reports or conceptual questions in a collaborative, interactive environment.
Writing Center
Looking for ways to combat writer’s block? Need help finding a new angle on your research paper? Tutors at the Writing Center can lend an ear and a hand.
REACH Peer Mentoring
If you’re an underrepresented or first-generation student, REACH peer mentors offer guidance and support as you navigate the college experience.
STEM Peer Mentoring
If science is your passion, the K-STEM Peer Mentoring program can help you explore and discover opportunities in STEM fields.
